I think I understand now. The AM/PM part was tripping me up. I think that when it say 15 minutes for the duration, it shows up as an hour. That's why I was confused. But now that I understand how it works, it makes sense!! Thanks so much for your help!!! :) Great work!!

Hi. I glad you hear j2Cal is working for you so far. The duration button pops up a time widget that lets you pick the number of hours and minutes of the appointment. The dialog shows AM/PM which may be causing confusion. I need to fix that one. So once you have set the duration you can look at the week view and you can see your appointments as blocks of time and also see if anything is overlapped. Hope that helps! :)

Hi Jim,

I downloaded this application and I LOVE it! I'm just trying to figure out the duration piece (I think it's a user error kind of thing). I have another (inferior) offline calendar that doesn't have duration, and it is causing problems with my scheduling (double booking, etc.). How do I program the duration so it shows up as a full hour, and doesn't overlap? Thank you for your hard work on this app. I think it is going to be the answer to my woes!!

Hey jerry, I'm glad to hear j2Cal is working for you. Searching is definitely coming! I'm just working out the best way to make it happen but you should see it in an update in the in near future.

Hi Jimbo, I recently came across your app after long searches for a non online calendar. I particularly like the fact that it can save the data to the SD card instead of the cloud. I've been it using for a few days and find it easy to use and pretty straight forward. One thing I miss from my Palm Calendar is the ability to search. Is there a way to do this that I haven't discovered yet? Or might this be something to add in a future release. Thanks for your good work.
